My personal favorite are the Pokemon games, like Battle Revolution for it's AWESOME music and the Mystery Dungeon series for it's amazing storyline.

1: Fable 2 (XBOX 360)
2: Minecraft (PC, other versions suck.)
3: Paper Mario Sticker Star (3ds)
4: Borderlands 2 (PC, not exclusive or anything, it's just meant to be played with nvidia...)

I've had several favorites over the years. To be really honest, it changes depending on my mood.
Dragon Quest VII is a special mention. It was one of the games you can say I grew up with. When I finally beat the final boss of the game, I actually felt like I was going to cry. No other game has left that much of an impact on me.

I find it funny how, on a board based around a Sonic game, less people than you would think actually have Sonic games on their favorite games list. (And everyone who does specifically mentions that Sonic 06 isn't as good.)

For me, my #1 favorite would be Sly 3: Honor among Theives. Also worth mentioning is the other Sly games, the Pokemon series and the Sonic Adventures.
