Ok, i can see how villager would be good, and his recovery is pretty great, it'll probably just take me a little getting used to to become good with him, and turning jumping by pressing the circle pad up to leave the jump button as X and Y

If you're planning to play online, be aware you cannot without the patch.

Though if you've already booted the game, you've probably realized this and already downloaded it. Apparently there were some last minute issues that needed addressed.

The patch was to primarily fix launch titles insta-banning Peach players if they pulled out an item with her Down-B in certain instances online.

This is why we don't preorder

Classic Mode Spoiler
Spoiler:
After beating Master Core, you get a little scene where you have to knock a ball out. I decided to be a little **** and keep down taunting it with greninja to get it to high percent. Then out of ****** nowhere it started floating and did taboo's butterfly bs and instakilled me. like, omg that's amazing

So I finally got it and Megaman is actually disappointing. It's a really annoying character, the main a button attack is shooting, and its really annoying. All it's attacks are projectiles. Oh well, should have expected that.

Mega Man is a defensive chip damage character. The only problem is that he has no tilt, meaning that it's harder to immediately turn around. However, his fair and bair are both almost instant and do good damage, his dair is a good meteor, and his projectiles are easily spammable. He also has a good recovery and is harder to KO than characters like Villager.

Also he can combo with his neutral attack because his arm has a hitbox that sends the enemy back into the projectiles.

His dair has insane lag if you miss it though.

Also, Greninja's hydro pump's windbox is the best thing literally metaphorically ever.

So do most Meteor air moves. Mario's fair has horrible startup lag and incredible landing lag too, same with Falcon's Feet Meteor.

Loving Zelda for smash runs right now though. Sheik and Toon Link are amazing as well, no complaints for any Zelda characters so far.

Charizard moved his forward special to downward special and got flare blitz, which is annoying as hell. I don't really like using Charizard anymore.

Greninja I have to get used to yet.

Shulk works pretty weird with his special, but he's okay to use.

Villager is bad. Really bad. It's so awful.

Pacman is really strange to use, but works alright.

Mii fighters are doing really well for me. I really love the customization in this game, even outside of the Mii fighters. I'm hoping for some improved Toon Link and Sheik downward moves, because they aren't that great.

I also love how there's a Fox skin that resembles Wolf for the butthurt people that didn't get Wolf in the character roster B)

Villager is defensive. He relies on doing chip damage and punishing other players for their mistakes, and when good players get behind him he can beat even the best offensive Shiek/Fox/Captain players.

Also "I don't like this character because X" is cool but "This character is really bad like horrible" is a dumb opinion. So far probably the crappiest character is still Ganondorf or maybe Falco, but even then it's a longshot since most characters are balanced much better than they were originally.

From what I've seen in most For Glory matches and Comp play the A tier will most likely include Bowser, Shiek, Captain Falcon, Mario, maybe Fox, maybe Falco, and Lucina for sure. Much more interesting main spread than Melee, which was mostly "fast characters like Fox and Shiek, Jigglypuff, and Marth".

Master Core Level 9 is easy, I did it twice.
With Ness.
With these moves: Lasting PK Thunder, PK Bonfire, PK Flash, and PK Forward Magnet.

There's no PK Bonfire, nor is there Lasting PK Thunder.

Also, anybody got a great technique for doing good in Homerun? So far the best I've done is 2551 feet with Yoshi.

Those are the Japanese translation names. In the English Version, they're:
PK FLASH:PK RISING FLASH:PK FREEZE

PK FIRE:PK BONFIRE: PK FIRE BURST

PK THUNDER: PK LASTING THUNDER:PK ROLLING THUNDER

PK MAGNET: PK VACUUM: PK FORWARD MAGNET

I've unlocked all of the Ness Attacks, he's my favorite character.

What's up with Nintendo's online? I can update the game and stuff fine, but as soon as I attempt to actually play online I get an error. Pokemon X and Mario Kart 8 are the same...

I don't understand what the problem could be, I can download and upload through the consoles, but not play online...
