Is anyone else surprised that this site actually has a separate rating scale based on gameplay merit AND their own personal beliefs?
I mean, the problem with video game reviewers sometimes is that they don't know when to separate both. For instance, they should have NEVER hired team magma to review ORAS. However, had the team magma member given a two scores that rated the game on how good it was, and their personal feelings towards land and water, we could have avoided a game being rated lower because of the reviewers own beliefs.
The irony of having a christian reviewer have a better rating system than a lot of other websites isn't lost here, we know these ******* tried to censor video games (RIP GTAV, Hotline Miami, and other games the CURRENT morality watchdogs got censored). But to have, what I think would be the fairest review model for gaming if you have a political agenda in mind that you don't want to end with over a million dollars lost because someone found corruption within your ranks.
