It runs like trash for Retro and his PC is alright, he seems to think the CPU is a bottleneck

EDIT: 13 loot boxes opened and I only got one nice skin which is the carbon fibre one for D.Va
I had far better luck in the beta when it came to opening these

I've got no idea who to use... I really like Tracer, McCree, Widowmaker and Lucio so far. They're just really fun, and I tap my foot when I'm playing Lucio.

EDIT: Okay, played my first game (tho I think against the AI? They posted messages saying "gg :|" and "...GG" afterward) as Tracer. I didn't die and I went on a 28 killstreak, we were defending an area against another team. I assume that's pretty good? Or was I playing a team that just weren't really coordinating their pushes? I only have about 50% of a clue as to what's going on. =w=

That was against the AI if they used "gg :|"

Though good for you, glad you had fun.

Damn it. I thought I was doing so well...!

Okay, I played a few more games and quickly learned that no-one ever wants to be the Healer. That being said, I feel like I'm not a bad Mercy! I led my team to the victory twice in a row out of the five games when I switched to Mercy. =w= Otherwise, Tracer is a looot of fun, though Reaper annihilates her, I quickly learned. x_x

Just stick around the big tanks, namely any Reinhardts. Reinhardts are great protectors of healers, especially since any time somebody is playing them they're going to be much more "team-oriented" than if they were playing another Hero. It's kind of weird, honestly, but when people play Reinhardt (even myself I'm finding), they seem to take on his actual personality - fun-loving, very open and caring about his team, and focused more on working together than going for sick KDAs. Though, to be fair, his kit is incredibly team-oriented and his boisterous personality is totally infectious, especially some of his Voicelines. "BRING ME ANUHZUR" and "CATCH PHRASE!" are super fun to spam while you're holding down M2, but if you don't have either of them, "HELLO" works too.

How to play Reinhardt
Step 1: Hold M2
Step 2: When their Mei stands in front of you and holds down M1, press Shift to smash her into a wall
Step 3: Repeat

It's mainly the lawyers of Blizzard doing this, and honestly I don't know or care.

Believe it or not, I've actually only seen one Reinhardt on my team, about three in total in the time I've spent playing the game. I tried to hang about with him but he decided to shoulder charge his way into enemy territory and got promptly annihilated. I'm probably just unlucky, honestly, but eh. I healed 48% of damage taken in one of my most recent Mercy games, so that was pretty fun.

I've been trying out characters and it's pretty amazing how each character is so different, but that all the characters are still fun and usable in their own way. Going up against Bastion feels cheap as hell sometimes since Bastion can just set up shop in a corner and then in order to remove Bastion from said corner you likely are going to need an ultimate because god damn he tears through you if you're not a tank character, and even then if you can down him he tears chunks out of you.

I didn't think I'd like D.Va when I first saw her. The whole mech thing just looked... kinda complicated, and I wasn't sure. But I've played a bunch more as her and it's a loooot of fun. I also tried Reaper, and he's not too bad, though you have to be practically face-hugging the enemy to be at your max potential. He got me my first play of the game, though, and D.Va my second.

I'm loving this game a looot. Most of the rest of you are on PC, right?

Made me chuckle.

Boost-launching D.Va's exploding mech into enemies is one of my favourite things. Otherwise, it's also a lot of fun countering camping Bastions as Roadhog. They never even know what hit them.

While the Play of the Game plays, everyone in chat writes "MVP!!!" and "wow, good job!" and a member of the opposite team types, "BRIAN_DUDE200, you glorious man, please bear my children," and Brian types back, "lol guys, it was nothing, haha," which is, actually, true
Hahaha.

I was showing Fox Boy my freshly uncrated legendary skin when he said "But you shoot ice" and "That's really stupid" before shooting me for it.

EDIT: Just uncrated one of the Lucio legendary "hockey" skins, after maybe one good skin in 17 unboxes I got two legendaries in a row. Nice!

How does the old saying go? "Talk **** get hit"? You should've joined the other team and went Winston or some **** and constantly jumped on top of him and only him.

I basically won my team the game with this pretty nice D.Va ult. Thought I had POTG in the bag. Charged in and lost my mech, managed to survive and get back in, dropped my ult, cleared out 2 people + 2 assists while the game is in overtime. Nope, it went to a Bastion sitting in a corner. Why did I expect it not to be

Because the POTG calculations determine POTGs by the most kills in a ~10 second timeframe most of the time. "Shutdown" POTGs and (I think) "Revive" POTGs occur when you kill somebody that has a huge killstreak (like 10 takedowns) or revive a huge part of the team as Mercy, respectively, though they're rare.

I hear enough whining about Bastion POTGs on the subreddit

It defeats the purpose of POTGs if hype plays are not witnessed because a player fulfilled his character's basic function.

Whine until it's fixed, as is the Internet's way.

Its only SFM artists who make money from it, because it has something to do with them using the in game models or modded versions without paying royalties. Its one of those things that makes sense when you think about it but is still pretty ridiculous all around.

Also I can vouch for it not running fantastically on even decent PC's. From asking around a bit I've figured out its mostly CPU related, and I don't know if its coincidental or not but everyone (including me) is running an i5. Either it isn't optimized as well as people would like, or I need to accept the fact my CPU is like 7 years old
