Why? Because the music is great that's why.
Unfortunately, the music was reportedly plagiarized and removed from HD Collection...

Re: Favourite game from:
Damn, another hard one, especially since the SNES was the first console I actually owned.
Highlights of Games I actually played on my SNES:
Super Mario All-Stars Plus: I shouldn't need to explain this one.
Donkey Kong Country 3: Favorite of the trilogy and the franchise as a whole.
Mario Paint: Not a game in the strictest sense, but probably my all-time favorite creativity tool for a game console.
Kirby Super Star: Ultra for the DS was a good update, but the original is still one of the best Kirby platformers.
Star Fox: StarFox 64 arguably improved on it in every way, but the original still has its charms. Also dem super low poly graphics.
Zoop: cool little action puzzler I got for five bucks from the bargain bin.
Yoshi's Island: Another I shouldn't have to explain.
Highlights I only played via Emulator:
Legend of zelda: A Link to the Past: Probably my favorite 2-D zelda(granted, I haven't played any of the GBA/DS 2D Zeldas aside from the Downloadable version of Four Swords).

Re: Favourite game from:
GBA is too hard for me, so I'm gonna skip that.
SNES, on the other hand is simpler since I have less to choose from so...
Super Mario World, also my favorite 2D Mario game.
Super Metroid and Yoshi's island were also pretty good too though.
And Earthbound is too creepy to mention.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Harvest Moon just because I get so addicted to it whenever I start playing. I guess I'll also say Super Mario World as well.
I haven't played many SNES games.

Re: Favourite game from:
Y'know I had a lot of fun with Super Castlevania 4 and Super Mario World. Same with Megaman X and so many other classics. Sadly, I never got around to playing Starfox on either the SNES or N64 though. I'm gonna say Super Mario World for this one, but then again I never played a ton of SNES games.
Re: Favourite game from:
You're not wrong, the guy who did the music for most Budokai games blatantly ripped off various riffs from classic rock/metal songs, which is why the xbox 360 budokai rereleases had brand new music.Crash32 wrote:Even though I personally think it's ripping off parts from Joe Satriani (even as young lad I noticed how obvious some of it is) this is still one of the all time best vidya jamschaoadventures wrote: DBZ Budokai 3.

Also, I take my answer back, my favorite Ps2 games are Sonic Mega Collection Plus, DBZ Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi (every game in each series), SvR 2006/7/8, and Crash Twinsanity.
Ps2 has a lotttt of good games.

Can't believe I forgot Harvest Moon on the SNES. I only played it via emulator, and only got a low-to-mid range ending, but it's easily my favorite RPG where you aren't playing the Hero.

Never had a SNES, but I did play A Link to the Past a few times and later got a port of the game.

Either Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or Yoshi's Island. So many good games to choose from on the SNES, though...

If games that are only on the platform rather than games you can play on Wii, then tie between Brawl and Mario kart Wii.

Re: Favourite game from:
The only Wii games I've played are Wii Sports and Twilight Princess, and the latter made me rage quit at the Bridge joust because point-and-click with teh Wiimote is a pain when you have time to aim, but an absolute chore when you have a time limit.
