Breath of the Wild is looking great. Hope there's no inventory weight, though.

Re: E3 2016: The Next Generation of Disappointment
Managing your inventory is a good concept that doesn't quite work right and I assume never will. (That said, it's what the Wii U Gamepad is best at, but not quite there yet.)
Nobody likes going back and forth monotonously to the game's "Storage Center" because they left their Hammer back home and they thought it would be irrelevant to their current trek.
Although it would be good to give players the choice to manage any clutter they experience at one.

Re: E3 2016: The Next Generation of Disappointment
Alright, I'll say it.
Nintendo failed to take the hype this year and lost to Sony and it's debatable if they even came at second place. We all knew Zelda was coming, I'm glad they showed us three new pokemon....but if that was it, we have nothing to be happy over.
NOT EVEN MOTHER 3
Sony is the clear winner

come on yukki, i'm hype as hell for botw but it can hardly be said nintendo won E3 because they showed gameplay of it all day after a few minutes of pokemon
in any case sony's live-orchestrated presentation followed by the demo release of re7 and norman reedus mpreg i'd say they won E3

It's been 2 years and you've already forgotten the answer to that?Goat wrote:NOT EVEN MOTHER 3
Either way, everything bored me this time. Usually I have a slight interest in the games shown on the PS4 and Xbox, but the only things I cared about were games from series I'd already played.

Re: E3 2016: The Next Generation of Disappointment
nintendo and zelda idc about but i think they're making a huge mistake not cutting the wii u version of zelda, they almost need a game like that bundled with the nx to even convince people to want to buy the thing after a horrible flop of a console. also saying "maps 12 times larger than a gcn zelda game" is something that would have been impressive a generation ago, i already expect asinine, sprawling maps these days and after watching demos it feels like a last gen open world game
as a sony fan i was worried sony wouldn't deliver because other than dishonored 2 and microsoft being pretty objectively solid for their audience e3 was pretty tepid, and ubisoft was even more obnoxious than usual that conference definitely needed the interviews totally cut
this year
sony
microsoft or bethesda (more based on conference quality being similar imo)
ubisoft
nintendo
ea
is probably how i felt. like i know ea and nintendo were clear on what to expect but nintendo is essentially asking their fans to hang in there and ea could have press released all that without missing anything
seeing dishonored 2, spiderman by insomniac, RE, a release date for last guardian, detroit (i just like those interactive narrative games every so often), being officially sold on horizon, even the less impressive crash announcement, Fe, Recore, are some of my bigger interests but seeing tekken 7 and a little more to for honor and smaller news like headlander, another gravity rush 2 trailer was nice
