Color Splash looks like a better Sticker Star. Little disappointing its not TTYD Paper Mario but it looks fun.

I can't think of one thing at this E3 that I was actually excited for.

Except story
Also Besides breath of wind, which genuinely surprised me, nothing has me truly excited so i'm in the same boat as fox boy. I mean, i really liked sony's conference, and nintendos stuff was nice at first but the later announcements are disappointing

I will say that I was excited to hear more about the new South Park game, but that LoZ didn't really blow me away. It looks fun, but I'm pretty much done with Nintendo. My Wii U has just been gathering dust and none of the games interest me. When more info comes out, maybe I'll be more interested. I will say I really don't enjoy the fact that it's not TP style (since it's apparently post-apocalypse, a perfect fit for TP) and is rather a continuation of SS.

The writing in Color Splash looks funny, and the paint mechanic seems interesting.

my prediction is that you and me are gonna stay that way, love because today nintendo totally inspired meFox Boy wrote:I'm pretty much done with Nintendo

When asked how Nintendo NX will stack up against Sony and Microsoft's forthcoming hardware revisions—namely PlayStation 4 NEO and Xbox One Scorpio—Fils-Aime told Bloomberg (via Nibel): "For us, it's not about specs, it's not about teraflops, it's not about the horsepower of a particular system. For us, it's about the content."
Fils-Aime continued: "We're focused on bringing our best entertainment to both the Wii U as well as the NX in the future. So for us, whatever Microsoft and Sony are doing in terms of talking about new systems, that's for them to fight out in that red ocean."

also i wouldn't buy it but yeah it's weird to say but color splash is passable? like i agree with pink at least they learned a little from sticker star. i know it isn't what their fans asked for but paper mario playing with a puzzle platformer thing isn't inherently bad, and i think nintendo knows the general market probably doesn't care about a traditional rpg paper mario as much as core fans do after super paper mario did okay years ago. not sure this game should be $60 though more like $20

I will give color splash that, it looks better than sticker star, and the card battles seem a bit more interesting but it's still just not doing anything for me. Even if graphically it looks great. After paper jam i was a little worried that was their way of telling us M&L will remain the traditional rpg and paper mario is gonna keep doing it's own little thing

Re: E3 2016: The Next Generation of Disappointment
The main things that caught my attention from this E3 were the new God of War and the new Zelda, but if I was still among the sighted, I'd probably be too busy with 3DS and Vita to care a whole lot. After all, as much as I like the two franchises, I've never beaten a God of War game on a console and the only Zelda I've ever beaten on a console was the Gamecube version of OoT(I've also beaten LttP, but that was emulating it on a handheld).
As for Nintendo continuing their "content is more important than specs" mentality, I kind of have to agree. Of the new games I've missed out on in the time since I went blind, most of the ones I've been interested in have been for 3DS or Vita rather than the home consoles, and even among home consoles, there have been more WiiU games that interest me than PS4 and Xbone games combined.
Then again, if I could appreciate graphics, I'd rather have beautifully drawn 2-D graphics or colorful, cartoony 3-D graphics over gritty, uncanny valley realistic 3-D graphics.
And while the Neo and Scorpio might have more raw power under the hood, have Sony or Microsoft mentioned any plans to use that extra power for anything other than the extra rendering power needed to avoid VR sickness?
Really, I'm pretty strongly convinced traditional style games have reached the point of diminishing returns given stronger hardware, and even if I could still see, the most mature aspect of VR tech would loose a lot of it's appeal since I've never had binocular vision.

Ok so, the main argument i'm seeing is "its not TTYD 2.0 so its bad."
Very compelling argument, i must say.

People only forgave Super Paper Mario for departing from TTYD's formula because it had an epic, moving story and Mr. L going for it.

Sticker star came close to being welcomed, but it became painfully obvious that paper mario is something they intend to cut corners on.

Its hard to take you seriously when you're basing your argument entirely on assumptions. Then again, I guess that isn't really anything new for you.
