Marvel VS Capcom Infinite
Marvel VS Capcom Infinite
I'm growing more and more nervous this is going to end up a premature birth like SFV was rushed. Their apparent and admitted lack of care adds to it, and whoever was in charge of the models needs to get fired because suddenly that one "i used to work for capcom guys and uhhh this happened" post from reddit is starting to look less fake.

Re: Marvel VS Capcom Infinite
As much as I would like to be excited, for me this is probably another fighting game that's going to throw away accessibility and ease of play for it's Reverse Hyper Combo Focus Cancels
(and also not bother to teach the player) or whatever they've come up with today to alienate newer players from playing.
Marvel 2 is fun to mess around in with my brother, but the series as a whole thrives on being absolutely CRAZY, so there's not much hope from me.
As for the models, everything looks mediocre but that's my verdict on what most fighting games with 3D graphics look like (I also have problems with 2D) so I'm not really complaining.

if you want a sick tag fighting game get DBF
Marvel VS Capcom Infinite. What is there to even say about it at this point that hasn't already been said. I really like the gameplay. It's solid, and contrary to Chaoadventures actually has some of the simplest mechanics in fighting games I've seen in a while, while also allowing for higher level players to go further beyond. I'd say the gameplay is perhaps the strongest point of the game, which is really good!
If uh. If everything else wasn't absolute garbage. The game's release date is coming soon and the roaster looks pitiful. When I saw characters reusing animations I got excited since it would mean that they're reusing old stuff to put in a lot of new stuff. This wasn't at all the case, in fact they cut out the Xmen to have a bigger emphasis on Guardians and Avengers and capcom, while getting some new faces, suffers from all their characters looking either really really good or awful beyond repair. Marvel also is having a lot of issues, but for the most part their characters aren't awful, just bad.
What I think really kills this game is how soulless and amateurish it looks. It looks like a fangame made by peoplewho don't actually know or like the series. It plays really really nice, but it just looks so bad. So dead and garbo. There's nothing in it that shows "hey guys! this game is for you!!!". It's just an empty shell.
