Those are some pretty nice sprites, chaomaker! Can I make a suggestion, though? No harm intended, of course. The "petal things" on the Hero Chao look like they're a bit too strong. What I mean is, the outline on them seems to be a constant black and makes them stand out too much from the rest of the sprite. Try using maybe some darker versions of the colours actually used in that part and putting them on some of the dots of the outline surrounding the petals.
I don't have a group of scratch sprites here, but I guess my Tails Chao sprite sheet works when it comes to edits, so...

If anyone wants to use them, feel free to do so. What I mean with "specifying you didn't make them" is informing them of that if someone asks you, of course (I doubt you like them enough to use them, though XD)

As for you, chao breeder, ummm...When I first learned about (good) spriting, it was at The Cave of Dragonflies. They have some nice guides there, even though I started with recolours and revamps. If you don't feel safe enough to edit or make scratch sprites just yet, try recolouring a bit, getting a feel of how the shading and the shapes work. Teaching would only work with someone next to you, I'd believe. Good luck finding help! PM me if you want me to tell you anything else, I don't want to go offtopic too much.

i am working on recoloring the devil chao sprites used in my new comic to match the colors of the mysterious "Magic One", and will post them here for all to use. i give all credit to the people who made this (spriteboard i think they call it?), i just am recoloring it. it is working very well and i will definitely move faster if i can edit things like this. i will post the same type of link i have been posting, so that you can follow it to the board. they will be amazing, and i will post them on this forum, on this post.
