I'm raising one Hero Chao and one Dark Chao in SA2

I'm thinking of abusing the dark chao with hero characters and abusing the hero chao with dark characters to ensure that they turn out good and evil. Is this a good idea?

Are you looking to solely abuse the Chao, or abuse them in addition to treating them kindly?

Either one will give you a Hero Chao or a Dark Chao, but abuse doesn't really benefit you or the Chao. Solely being kind is more efficient, and the only benefit you might get from abuse is that it could shorten the Chao's life, meaning it might evolve faster, but it wouldn't be any more helpful than feeding a Chao as much fruit as possible.

I'm not quite sure what you were looking to hear.
