Blue and gold animals increase intelligence, Black ranked animals decrease it.
Reply if there's anything wrong with the idea.

All animals give the same amount of experience in both Intelligence and Luck. The only thing really special about Blue, Gold, and Black animals is that they have a random effect on the run<>power and swim<>fly sliders that determine evolution.
Just so you know, I am blind.

Those who approach life like a child playing a game, moving and pushing pieces, possess the power of kings.

Seconding Mewtamer's comment- it has been a common rumor, for quite some time now, about blue, black, and gold animals being tied to intelligence and luck. And honestly, it could have been a cool feature. But all animals increase intelligence and luck the same amount.

Blue, Black, and Gold animals are special as Mewtamer said, where they have a random effect on a chao's gradual evolution.
