He then nodded to Sketch.
The Buizel turned to look at the frozen Venusaur.
He fired another Ice Beam at it to ensure that the infected grass type would stay frozen.

Sketch followed a path in the ground that seemed to have been traveled tons of times.

Jet kept following. He clutched his side as he walked, covering the cuts he got from the razor leaves.

Electris was padding down the narrow path, keeping her sharp eyes out for any Pokemon that were not infected. She dared not hunt lately, as of a couple days ago, after hearing of the troubles with infection. This worried her slightly.

Being a Luxray, Electris was able to see "through" things, like trees, which meant that prey could not hide.

So she saw Jet fairly easily.

Intimidate would serve her well here, she knew, as she bounded out of the narrow path and into Jet's way.

Sketch yelped and jumped when a Luxray launched out of the brush, instinctively using sand attack, hoping that would've stunned the Luxray long enough to either get away or counter.

[Jack Augustine]

Shaking her head and closing her eyes against the Sand Attack, she let out a low growl. Knowing a single Special attack, she used it here once she opened her eyes; Thunderbolt.

Sketch lept back trying to avoid the thunderbolt, while letting out an incinerate

"...Ghhh!" Electris groaned, unable to evade the Incinerate. Thankfully, her item was a Quick Claw, not a Berry, so it was only charred. The magic within it was unharmed.

She used it to quickly get behind the Incinerate user and Bite him quickly.

Jet quickly fired his ice beam at the Luxray, hoping to trap the electric type in an icy prison so that he and his friends could escape.
