Jet brought his paw back.
'What's it going to take it to convince him that we're not infected...' Jet thought to himself. His thoughts were interrupted by his stomach growling loudly once again. He quickly covered it with a paw.
"Let's go find something to eat"
He looked around, trying to spot a berry bush.

Jet looked around again and saw an oran berry bush not far from them.
"Guys! I see some berries! Let's go!"
Jet raced toward the bush.

((Btw, would you guys be up for changing how the virus spreads? Like, instead of physical contact, it spreads by getting bitten by an infected pokemon?))

((Okay, I won't change it then. But I also realized that it being spread by physical contact kinda makes it hard for normal pokemon attack/defend against infected pokemon because they can't use any physical attacks without getting infected themselves.))

Jet ran toward the bush eagerly, ready to fill his belly. He plucked a few for himself, and then handed some to Kiri and Sketch.
He happily munched on the berries.

Out of nowhere, huge roots shot up from the ground, wrapping tightly around Sketch and Kiri.
"Sketch! Kiri!" Jet exclaimed.
A root tried to grab Jet, but he managed to dodge it.
A Venusaur came out from behind some nearby trees, its eyes glowing a sinister purple.
'An infected pokemon!' Jet thought.
He growled, getting into a battle stance.
"Let them go!"

Sketch tried to break his way out of the roots using incinerate.

The roots that held Sketch started burning, albeit slowly.
Jet sent a Sonic Boom at the Venusaur, hoping to stun them so that he could help Sketch and Kiri.
The Venusaur countered with Razor Leaf.
Jet tried to dodge, but he wasn't quick enough. The sharpened leaves struck him hard, giving him a few cuts.
He winced in pain.
The Venusaur saw this as its chance, beginning to take in sunlight.

Sketch groaned annoyed. He glanced at the Venusaur. He shot an incinerate at it, hoping it would damage it more, ot burn it.

Kiri struggled against the vines attempting to get free. "Let me go you brute!" She says.

(Go ahead~ and sorry for my absence. school >.>)

The Venusaur was burned by the Incinerate attack, disrupting its move.
Seeing this as his chance, Jet quickly fired his Ice Beam. The icy attack froze the Venusaur solid.
The small flame from Sketch's previous fire move finally burned through the roots, releasing him.
Jet ran over to Kiri and Sketch.
"Are you guys okay?!"
He started using Sonic Beam on the roots holding Kiri, hoping to free her.

Sketch dusted himself off before trying to pull Kiri out. "I'm fine"Sketch said. "Okay, we should grab some more berries, and get out of here before fungus back here thaws out. We could head to this mansion I live in. It has a few other pokemon aswell."Sketch said.

Jet nodded.
He kept up his attack. With Sketch pulling, and a few more Sonic Booms from Jet, Kiri was freed from the roots.
