The Otherkind

Don entered his class, which was Archaeology. He was somewhat thankful for it. Not only did he enjoy the subject, the teacher had no biases against Otherkind, even if he thought that genetic engineering of babies was unethical.

Seth dropped his phone after the bump and looked at Zoë. "Oh, uh... It's fine, I guess... Are you okay?" He said holding out his hand towards Zoë as a gesture to help her up. His fingernails were rather long and pointy.

Don sat down at his desk and got his books out. He waited for the Teacher to start the class and go over whatever topic was going to be discussed.

Zoë grabbed his hands and got up "yeah yeah.. i am fine" She smiled and fixed her hair, of whatever there was to fix about that fluffball on her head.
"oh my stuff.." she went on her knees again to pack her bag again, not noticing her notebook, still opened on her last drawing of the guy, with the title "Mysterious handsome guy in the back of math".

Seth squats and starts helping Zoë with her stuff. He noticed the drawing, looked a little suspicious at it and closed it quickly. He didn't want to give her the idea he was snooping through her notebook. He got up again and handed Zoë the rest of her stuff. "Here. Ehh, I should apologize as well though, I wasn't paying attention." He said.

The teacher looked out of the door of the classroom. "What's the hold-up? You're already late, hurry up!" He ordered.

"I am sorry mister, It was my fault, I was speeding up in the hallway" She said while looking up and still putting all of her belongings back in her bag.
She got up "my apologies"
She straightened her dress and shirt and smiled sweetly at the teacher, then looked up at the guy nodding and went in.

Seth was about to walk into class as he felt in his pockets. He looked behind him, as his phone was still on the floor. He picked it up and put it in his pocket. He quietly went to his seat and looked out of the window again. "What was that drawing anyway..." He thought, glancing over to Zoë.

Zoë was still looking for a place to sit, and decided to sit next to Seth.
"I hope you don't mind me sitting here?" she whispered.

Kris snuck in behind Seth and Zoë, as to not draw too much attention. Please don't notice please don't notice please don't notice! She thought, grabbing the seat furthest from the teacher and keeping her tail and ears low.

Seth looked at Zoë and shook his head lightly. He reached out for his bag and took out his notebook and pencil case. He opened it and went through his messy notes and crappy doodles, and opened a new page.

OOP: What class are they in?

The Archaeology teacher began explaining the topic of discussion for the day. For once Don paid close attention to what a teacher was saying.

Colin entered the same class room that Z was heading to. He didn't even bother apologizing for being late, since he knew very well that the teacher didn't care. He found a seat in the very back, hoping nobody would notice him taking another nap.

"At this rate, I'm gonna sleep through the meeting." He sighed.

((well.. Zoë has art.. idk about the others but Kris had English... sooo i guess she's hiding in the wrong class))

Zoë flipped through her notebook, there were some impressive doodles and drawings. Even though she mostly didn't like them herself.
She landed on the page with Seth on it and started to blush, quickly turned it to a blank page and looked at Seth to see if he saw that.
She turned back to get her eraser and saw Kris.
"Hey" she smiled sweetly. "You have art too?" She cocked her head to the side.

((She's just hiding in the first class she can hide in))

"Nope. The English teacher hates me so I'm just hiding. I'll say I got picked up that period for a dentist meeting or something." Kris smiled. "Besides, the Art teacher doesn't check what students are in his class. First period was my art class and we had 2 people that were supposed to be in english in our art class."

((I didn't really pay attention to what courses we take part in, and frankly, I don't really care))

Seth looked at Zoë's notebook. He was kind of interested in her art, since he was quite impressed by it. He then shook his head and started focusing on his doodles. He started by drawing a small character in the middle-bottom of the page.

"ha seems fair enough" she smiled at her.
Then she got her notebook again, a mechanical pencil and her eraser.

Zoë just sketched some harsh lines, roughly from memory trying to remember what Don exactly looked like.
She went in with some more detail, shading, erasing, etc.
When she was satisfied she looked from it with squinting eyes, and smiled.
She wrote the title "Don, the dinosaur dude" and giggled at herself.
Then she looked over to her side and saw Seth doodling.

Seth started drawing some big lines coming from the little guy. He started drawing what seemed to be like some sort of monster. He started adding eyes and more monsters overlapping each other. Even thought they were just sketches, they looked slightly disturbing already.

Zoë frowned a bit, she got a weird eerie feeling from that drawing.
She almost had the urge to ask if he was okay, but instead she didn't.
"My name's Zoëlla, but you can call me Zoë" She said, while starting on a new drawing, on the page next to the Don drawing.

After Don's teacher finished explaining what was going on the daily debate started. The debate was over whether art was necessary for the development of ancient or not. Don was on the side that it was necessary, but didn't contribute anything as everyone else had put out the points he was wanting to make.


OOP: I'm wanting to add a new character, could someone have multiple animals mixed with them or just one?

Seth noticed what Zoëlla said, but decided not to respond, since it wasn't clear to him who she was talking to. He started drawing a creature with demon horns, a snake and a beast with no eyes and a huge mouth. They all seemed like to be attached together at the bottom to the little man.

Zoë looked at the drawing and got a chill down her spine.
"So.. eh.." she tried not to look or think of the drawing "what.. is your name?" she asked a bit hesitatingly.

((Yeah, they can have parts from multiple animals))

Kris started on her drawing at least twelve times. Each time she'd mess up on a little detail and just crumple up the paper and put it under her desk, then try again. Why can I never get this RIGHT?! She thought after her last attempt. You'd ****** think after 2 periods you could at least draw simple ****** guidelines without already ****** everything up! She leaned under her desk to collect the crumpled papers to throw away.

Seth looked to the right of him, to see who Zoë was talking to. He was kind of puzzled, since it sounded like she was talking to herself. He raised an eyebrow.

She was still looking at him, now raising her eyebrows too "are you gonna tell me your name or what?"
She looked kinda confused and frowned a little.
The odd drawing, his whole attitude, it kinda scared her a bit.

Seth raised both of his eyebrows from the sudden outburst from her. "Uh, sorry, were you talking to me...?" He asked as if it was a rare thing for someone to talk to him.
