Re: Quack Chat
My school has a fountain, which regularly has a lovely couple of ducks, who I assume are duck-married, who always hang around. No other ducks, just those two. Seeing them brightens my day.
Re: Quack Chat
Was the Ducktales remake any good?
I played castle of illusion and finished the story on it recently but it's controls were very disappointing.

Carl Barks, the man responsible for writing and illustrating the greatest Donald Duck stories ever told, is the most influential comic book artist who ever lived. Bigger than Jack Kirby, bigger than Stan Lee, bigger than Klaus Janson. I've heard people call him a god.
And you've most likely never heard of him.
Nevertheless, throughout the world Carl Barks is revered as the father of childhoods. In Europe Disney comics reign supreme; in Germany they have publications dedicated to studying Carl Barks stories, in France and the Netherlands they are enjoyed by people of all ages, in Italy an enormous industry creates its own Mickey and Donald stories to dwarf the American works. Even Brazil has its own tradition of Disney comics. And in each nation the undisputed master of the comic medium is Carl Barks. The size of the international Donald Duck fandom is mindbending. The superhero genre is massively overshadowed by Disney comics in these countries, to the point of being extremely jarring to anyone not in on the secret.
Donald Duck comics are series business.

I've heard myths of just how massive Donald Duck is in europe, was Ducktales related to his works in any way?

Ducktales is an inferior version of Carl Barks comics, the way Spider-Man the Animated Series was a loose adapt of comic storylines. Some episodes of Ducktales directly adapt Barks stories, some are original, but none of them compare with the master's work.
For example, Launchpad was invented to replace Donald, and Webby doesn't exist in canon.

So a duck walked up to a lemonade stand, and the man running the stand said "Okay buddy, here's your grapes." and the duck beat his *** for being racist.

*I waddle in slowly and oh so eloquently, making sure to flex my pecks and abdominals with every step my webbed feet take*
"What's up guys? Come around here often? I just flew in all the way from my daily gym routine, and boy are my arms tired- I mean sweaty."

Dude I know how you feel, it can sometimes feel like life's ducking us in our quackholes, but you know what can make you feel better? Some sick gains
