Why not? It only takes like 10 minutes to get it up and running, then you add credit using a prepaid card, paypal etc. and you can buy games, usually at much cheaper prices (I got Rayman Origins for 10 bucks a week or two ago) :3

I say take the 10 minutes to get it, it's definitely worth it. Plus you can chat with many of CI's members through it c:

I agree with Crash. Steam is a great platform and has many awesome games, both free and paid. I got Half-Life last night ^o^

Setting it up isn't that hard at all and registering is just as easy as it was on CI.

I can barely even chat with the new steam thanks to the broken laggy mess it is.

Some of us don't have good enough computers to get Steam, or at least play games on it.

I'm pretty sure even the slowest computer would be able to run steam.
Of course playing the games is a whole other thing, but steam should run.

1. my computers have horrible internet connection, even now-that I have DS wifi...my computers are ancient and need to be replaced soon.
2. my parents will NOT let me buy stuff online. Because of that, I can't even get something as simple as Minecraft (so I can play with my boyfriend). The only time I got something online was Sonic Gems Collection, and a relative had to buy it. :I
so yeah, I can't. :c

Cave Johnson made this quote somewhere in the 70's, atleast long before the Different Turret was made, thus the turret was quoting Cave Johnson.

Cave Johnson supposedly wanted his conscience to be turned into a robot after his death.

I believe that the Different Turret is, in fact, Johnson himself. Why else would he know about Caroline being inside GLaDOS?)

Flame, CJ indeed wanted his conscience to be uploaded in a computer, but he died before that was possible and that's why Caroline became GLaDOS instead.
