Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts #BringBackCrownNuggets
Fun Fact: I have eaten chicken nuggets nearly every night of my life for nearly the past decade. There would be a few days where I would go without chicken nuggets, or instead eat chicken strips or chicken patties. Point is: I've eaten a lot of chicken nuggets.
This club is for people who also regularly eat a lot of chicken nuggets.

Re: The Chicken Nugget Club
I am glad to know the chicken nugget support is strong and that no one has doubted my life fact. Because it genuinely isn't a lie. I have horrible eating habits. insert vore joke here
Right now shape seems to be the most important factor, but let's hear some extended opinions!
I normally eat Tyson brand chicken nuggets that I microwave. Sometimes I get the cheaper brands like Banquette when I am visiting friends or planning to drink like a mature and responsible adult. I'm told cooking in the oven is always better, but microwaving is so convenient. I don't use dipping sauces and I pick up dinosaur shaped for special occasions.
Also if I had to choose a restaurant, Wendy's has the best nuggets in quality, but I find myself more likely to go to McDonald's or even get White Castle's ring shaped nuggets. Don't tell me they have a different name: they are ring shaped nuggets.

Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts
I can eat like 16+ wendy's nuggets, seriously. I agree they're the best.
I can't stand mcdonald's nuggets they are bad

I prefer chicken strips, but nuggets are pretty good if you're craving some fast food but not interested in sandwiches (or hot dogs for burger king).

Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts
Are chicken tenders a nugget?
Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts
tenderloin
Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts
I feel like McDonald's nuggets are par, and have a time and a place. That place is the same as any time you need McDonald's: when something is open and you don't care what you are eating.Twiddle. wrote:I can't stand mcdonald's nuggets they are bad
This brings us to a strong rallying point! #BanTheBunNova! wrote:I prefer chicken strips, but nuggets are pretty good if you're craving some fast food but not interested in sandwiches (or hot dogs for burger king).
They do make gluten-free chicken nuggets! At least that's what google told me.eboy wrote:i'm gluten free
I'm not actually certain. I say this because of my experience with Banquet. While they sell chicken nuggets, which come in a mostly a round shape or dinosaur shapes, sometimes even special shapes for movies, they also sell chicken tenders, which are like long ovals instead of rough circles. The tenders don't taste nearly as good as the nuggets, which I still don't understand why, but there clearly is some kind of debate.Fox Boy wrote:Are chicken tenders a nugget?

i have to say that heating up frozen chicken tenders aren't nearly as good as heating up frozen chicken nuggets, kinda sad really
on the contrary, fresh chicken tenders i enjoy more than fresh chicken nuggets

Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts #BanTheBun
i've been making late night mcdonalds runs lately and the more exhausted you are, the better the nugs
Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts #BanTheBun
Opinion question time:
What is everybody's (respective) favorite sauces to use with their chicken nuggets/tenders? Personally, I strongly prefer pure honey mustard to anything else and have for years now, though lately I've been indulging in Sriracha Ketchup, and it's a pretty great change of pace from regular ketchup, definitely recommend it to anybody that likes spiciness and wants a tasty condiment for meats.

Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts #BanTheBun
sweet n sour is typically a p solid sauce, but like, if im eating actual good food i generally skip sauces because i feel like it only masks whatever flavor it already has, and a solid nugget is no exception
also like, mcdonalds is a straight up war crime and i usually avoid eating there, but the last couple times i got their hell nugs i actually couldnt stop eating them. like theyre awful but in the same way that the room is awful

if I must eat mcdonald's nuggets then I prefer them with honey.
also does anyone know if chick-fil-a's spicy chicken sandwich comes in nugget form? because that's all I ever order since the sandwich came out. it's been a while though so I can't remember.

Mcdonalds gives out honey now?
Re: Serious Chicken Nugget Enthusiasts #BanTheBun
Honey mustard. I call it pure because there are a bunch of brands that sell "honey mustard" that in reality is just spicy mustard, the kind that's a darker yellow with little blots in it. Actual honey mustard is light brown-ish yellow and tastes notably sweet.

i tend to go for ranch dipping sauce, but some other options i really like are honey and honey mustard, and if available i like blue cheese
really not crazy about mcdonald's sweet & sour sauce, hardly resembles sweet & sour from chinese take-out restaurants. bbq is another i really don't care for
ketchup feels like a last resort when you don't want dry nugs, but honestly this only applies to microwaved nugs. fastfood nugs you just eat as they are, ketchup ruins them unless they're leftovers you're heating up
