Most of the "leaked" videos could be either edited to LOOK real, or unfinished sort of put together prototypes that were leaked. We can't really assume anything until gamefreak officially releases diance.

^You expect GameFreak to produce anything resembling a coherent mythology? Also, wouldn't be the first time Pokedex flavor text said something without any clarifying or elaborating on it, and some entries are far more outlandish.

It's kind of what I'm curious about. No one ever really specified that ditto were failed mew clones either. It's pokedex entry even comes before mew, heck, even mewtwo's entry does... Though I guess it was never confirmed? Just curious if there were any explanations about it yet o:
