I've noticed that this board is getting quite messy - especially with regards to stories and comics. Therefore, I'm posting this thread to create some guidelines, which should improve this Stories board.
Please follow these guidelines when writing stories/comics:
Do not post emoticon comics.
Many users are posting 'stories' that consist of a few swaying emoticons mixed with a couple of lines of dialog. I'm sorry, but those aren't really stories. It's even worse when people post large emoticon stories - the emoticons just clutter the post and make it difficult to read and understand.
Do not post incredibly short stories.
Many users are posting 'stories' that consist of a few lines of text. A story is a larger piece of work - at least a few paragraphs long. Please take the time to consider your plot and put effort into your story.
Type correctly - use proper grammar and spelling.
As awesome as your story may be, there's no point in posting it if nobody can understand it. Please try to type correctly and format your story into paragraphs. This isn't so important for general chatting - but for stories, it's crucial.
In short, please try to put effort into your creations - don't just post for the sake of posting.
These guidelines are here not only to keep the forums free of clutter, but also to encourage you to improve your abilities.
Thank you very much for reading!
Mooncow Edit: This topic was moved to the Stories forum following the separation of Stories from Artwork/Movies forum.

Help me i don't know!
First, be sure you have your MSPaint pic saved as either a PNG, GIF, or JPEG. Then resort to such image hosting site like Photobucket, ImageShack, or TinyPic and upload your image there. After your image is uploaded, you should be given some codes to display the image on a website/forum. Copy the code for use on forums, and paste it into your post.
On-topic: I'll be sure to understand these guidelines. :)
question~ I was wondering if the stories are also able to be fan fictions.... Or if there was a separate place for those... though I didn't see one >.>
I know I am just new to these forums but I have been to many other forums... and I know that you can not just think that you can all be moderators... not everyone will be able to be one >.> and such... and with my experience with the other forums that I have joined.... I know that you cant just wish yourself into being a moderator. You have to prove yourself, and show that you are dedicated to the task and also show that you are trustworthy...
I have a question. If we make an art topic, we should stick to that one, I know, but is it OK to make others? I mean, there are a lot of poeple making "My new art" topics instead of updating their old art topics, and I was wondering if that is OK. Is it?

What if it isn't a PNG, GIF, or JPEG? How do you change them to one of those? What if you don't have a Photobucket, ImageShack, or TinyPic account?
You cant post the pic if you don't have an account... And... when saving the file.. there will be a tab that says jpeg or some other file type... you can click that to change it.

Yes, Zaku when he first joined did. It was something about megaman.
Chaomaker had done a digimon fan story, and a few people have done chao and sonic stories. A few people have done pokemon.
