Spoiler:
Mikey was revving up her motorcycle. She had challenged her twin, Blast, to a challenge. A racing challenge.
Blast was in her red convertible. She eyed her sister slyly, and then took off. Mikey sped after her.
They were both speeding along Main Street, way beyond the speed limit. Two policemen started chasing them along the road. "Whoa!" Blast squeaked, but she didn't stop. She just sped up.
Mikey, on the other hand, wasn't troubled at all. She swerved through herds of cars and other vehicles. She let her hands free and stood up on her seat. "Look at me!" She teased Blast.
Blast just rolled her eyes and sped up.
Mikey plopped back on her seat and sped up so fast that the motorcycle's front wheel popped off the ground and stayed in the air. She continued on, and then finally landed back on the ground, sparks flying from underneath her wheels.
"Whoo!" She said, taking off her biker's helmet and shaking her quills wildly. "I win! I win!" She teased.
Blast screeched to a halt a few minutes after Mikey had won. "Whatevs, sis!" She sighed. She looked behind her, and the policemen were still on their tail.
Mikey shrugged and just waited for them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A dark-looking hedgehog had been watching them. He snickered menacingly and leapt off the building and landed on the tree they were parked under. They were perfect. Reckless, careless, and easy-going. Exactly what he needed!
Now...if they were naive, that would make him able to trick them. He hung on the branch from his feet, watching them, forever listening. "Hello," he spoke at last.
The hedgehogs jumped and squeaked. "Wha-?! Who are you?!"
"My name is Slicker," the hedgehog smiled menacingly, and the aky itself seemed to darken.
"Slicker...the hedgehog."
