-Chao Rp: Within the Pleasure of Darkness-

Cyrus looked behind him unaware of the mistake he was making.

There was a grin, and a pair of red eyes meeting Cyrus's. "Heheh... foolish chao..." He muttered, walking closer to Cyrus. Once he got the direct contact of another chao's eyes, they were locked in a stare. Cyrus couldn't look away now, even if he wanted to.

Destiny looked over at Cyrus and gasped. "No-!"

"Cyrus! No!" Marie suddenly felt her temperature drop. She was frozen--literally--in absolute terror.

Cyrus, while unable to look away, could still say one more thing. "Well...you did end up getting me after all."

Jillian, who had been smart enough to remain inside, tossed drift into the cave.

Marie watched Cyrus, horrified. What would happen next? She remained standing solid to the ground, fear gripping her heart and weighing her down like a boulder. "Cyrus...no...!"

Drift landed on the ground with an, "Oof!" He quickly got up however, and looked around, confused.

The chao nodded, closing his eyes for a moment and taking in a deep breath. "Ahh, Cyrus... your soul is now mine, now... go on and teach the others a lesson."

Destiny yipped and grabbed Marie, running off deeper into the cave. "There's no time to be wasting...! W-We gotta find a place to hide!"

However, her path was cut off by a familiar face, the same chao who had corrupted Cyrus landed in front of her. "No no no, Des, you're not getting away again...!"

Her eyes widened as she looked at him, sadness etched in her face. "Xale..?"

Cyrus blinked and looked at Destiny and smirked taking the other side of destiny, trapping her between him and xale.

Char was just now reaching the summit of the mountain where the group was at.

"Phew, what a joyride! I think that object landed in this cave that's conspicuously right next to me," he said.

"I'm up for spelunking any time of the day!"

Marie let out a scream of fright, finding that Xale was corrupted as well. She trembled uncontrollably. "Oh..." she moaned, starting to cry. She felt like such a wimp, but she cried anyway.

Destiny couldn't look away, trapped inbetween the two, and in the exchange between her and Xale. "M-Marie! Run!!"

Luna knew there was nothing she could do to help, so she grabbed Marie and ran just outside of the cave, trying to calm her down. "There's nothing we can do now, they're both gone, we just... we need to go somewhere safe."

Marie was shocked and scared. She huddled close to Luna. "What's g-g-going to happen to D-destiny?" She stammered, still scared. "How will we...we have to save them..."

Leaf was stuck to the ground as fear took over her. Eventually she found the strength to follow Luna and Marie.

Jay, hiding behind a rock to stalk the group, stayed hidden.

Luna frowned. "Destiny's... well, she's going to face the same fate as Cyrus... but we can't worry about saving them, now. We need to make sure everyone else gets outta there safely."

Destiny finally blinked her eyes, as she felt her arms shake. "Y-You... You..." She lost the thought as she lost her breath, a new, dark feeling coming over her. "Xale..." She asked, still shaking.

Xale gave a smile, though it was mischievous. His eyes were red as he placed his paw on Destiny's shoulder. "Hey, Des... don't worry about anything... this world is going to be ruled by the both of us... through Darkness!" He laughed again, raising his paws.

Something in Marie suddenly clicked. She couldn't let Destiny suffer that fate! Only a coward would run away from a chao that needed help; even if that chao was a Time Hero! She yanked herself out of Luna's grasp. "What? You're going to let Destiny become one of them??" She asked, alarmed.

((For some reason I feel bad for making Marie do that to Luna.
RPs are way to realistic for me. D:))

Cyrus turned and flew after Luna and Marie. Though right before he could exit the cave, ice materialized in the opening closing them into the cave.

Jillian, on the outside nodded and grabed drift flying towards Luna."You'll thank me later."

Luna shook her head, grabbing her paw again. "Listen, Marie... sometimes there's just nothing we can do. Heroes will keep whoever they can safe, and sometimes there's just circumstances where everyone won't make it. We can't go back for Destiny now. You have to trust me, we'll get her back later... even if we can't right at this moment." She explained, hoping she would understand. The fly chao then looked at Jillian and nodded, motioning for the others to get closer to her. "Everyone come over here, I can teleport us somewhere safer."

Marie felt so confused. "But..." she trailed off. "She..." she looked at the entrance of the cave longingly as she was pulled along by Luna. "But Destiny..." she couldn't think of the right words to say. Reluctantly she tore her gaze from the cave and tried to focus on the situation.

Leaf frowned at Destiny but walked towards Luna and Marie and whoever else was there.

Once everyone was close enough, Luna nodded. Her eyes started to glow a pure white, as she raised her paws.

Then suddenly, in a blink of an eye, they had all teleported to the village, far away from the mountain and it's cave.

Marie opened her eyes, which had been closed due to the blinding white flash. She looked around. "Where are we...?"

Luna rubbed her head a bit. "We're in the village. I feel we should stay here until we hear news of the other chao."

[The Ice Maiden]

Marie nodded slowly. "Okay..." she said. "That sounds like a good plan." She plopped to the ground. "Well...what now?"

Leaf rubbed her eyes and shook her arms a little then sighed as she looked around. She saw a rock on the ground and kicked it.

Luna frowned. "I haven't thought about that yet, maybe we should just keep attention off of us until later."
