Chao RP: The Dragons of Life and Death

[Jack Augustine]

Electro picked up a map, left a few Rings on the counter (equivalent to about 25 dollars' worth) and left.

"Coolio. So, about that journey we should be taking..." Char said, digressing from the current topic. He proceeded to lay down his map on the ground.
"...Where the heck is your brother?! Is he over here?" Char placed his paw on a spot on the map. "Or how about here?" He moved his paw to another spot on the map.
"Do I have to tape this to a dartboard?"

"Wait!" said the shopkeeper. "Explorers get free maps!"

Interesting. Guadalupe thought. They're searching for someone? He slowly walked towards the shopkeeper.
"I would appreciate a map. And actually ... do you have anything to drink? I'm parched."

[CitrusCat]

The shopkeeper nodded and handed him a map. "I believe we might... What would you like? I'll go check to see if we have it."

[SilverRabbit]

Fluttershy sat there, a tear rolled down her face. "I'm just remembering my husband, he was so sweet, but now he's gone..." She sniffed, and wiped her eyes.

Honesty said "Fluttershy, you have a huge adventure ahead of you, now is not the time..."

[quartzlcc]

"Ahh ... How about a coke?" Guadalupe smiled. "Thanks."

[Snowy]

Snowy's patience was beginning to decrease and he started to fly around using chao as obstacles. After a few barrel rolls he just leaned down against a tree nearby the main group of chao.

[Jack Augustine]

"Really?" Electro asked, turning. "Keep the Rings, then; I'd have left the Rings regardless."

[CitrusCat]

"Um, OK..." said the shopkeeper. He then turned back to Guadalupe. "You mean Coca-Cola? I'll go check." The shopkeeper turned around and went into the other room to search.

[quartzlcc]

"Yeah. Bottled, preferably!" Guadalupe called out. He slouched further against the building and continued to observe the small crowd.

[CitrusCat]

"Ah, found one!" The shopkeeper came back with a bottle.

[quartzlcc]

"Mmm, thanks." Guadalupe spoke softly. He eyed the beverage for a moment, "How much?"

[Jack Augustine]

Electro rejoined the group and called out, "So what are we doing now?"

[CitrusCat]

"We need to make sure everyone's here," Lucius said, "and then we'll be off."

The shopkeeper smiled. "That will be one Ring," he said. "Or, if you'd rather use cash, it is five dollars."

(I assume that Electro gave the shopkeeper 5 Rings, since that goes in evenly with 25 dollars. Meaning a single Ring is 5 dollars. Does that sound alright?)

[Jack Augustine]

[Actually, that makes sense.]

"All right." Electro sighed. "I suppose I should explain why I said the year was what I did, shouldn't I...?"

[CitrusCat]

"Please do," Lucius said in response.

[Jack Augustine]

"I... I don't come from this dimension." he murmured in his accented (Somewhat like a this-universe Boston accent) voice, this being far more obvious than before because now he wasn't trying to hide it.

[quartzlcc]

"Not a problem." Guadulupe reached inside a pocket of his trench coat and pulled out a single ring, placing it in the shopkeeper's right hand and lightly taking the bottle of Coca-Cola from his left. He removed a bolt from his quiver and used it to pry open the cap from the bottle. Putting the bolt back, he eyed the coke satisfyingly and took a swig. "Mmmm."
Inter-dimensional chao, huh? Uncommon, certainly, but not unheard of.

Honesty then said "May I have two pieces of cake if you have any, please?"

Fluttershy smiled at Honesty, "You're so kind, since I don't have any rings you're going to get me some as well, is that correct?"

Honesty nodded.

Char slapped My-Little-Pony-Ripoff.
"I CAN'T READ YOUR TEXT"

Char shrugged.
"Things just get weirder and weirder every day."

[quartzlcc]

Guadalupe chuckled softly upon hearing Char's comment. "The more things change, the more they stay the same..." He whispered to himself under his breath.
That said, it's been some time since I've seen this many ... eclectic chao gathered together in one place.

[Jack Augustine]

Unintentionally, Electro sent a thin bolt of electric power down to the ground. He wasn't entirely able to control his ability, at least not at this point in time.

[CitrusCat]

"Whoops, careful! What was that?!" Lucius said to Electro. He was not angry, but startled.

[Jack Augustine]

"...What was what?" asked Electro, having no idea whatsoever what he'd just done.
