Chao Island's interactive Chao Garden

Inspired by CitrusCat's thread, It Takes a Village to Raise a Chao, this will be a Chao Garden where what happens is decided by the posts in this forum. I have enough of my own gardens, so since I'm the creator of this one, I will not input any of my own preferences in this garden. That means if you tell me to abuse one chao and pet another, I will do so. Also I'll try to update this main topic to be more clean and to date in the future.

This is a group effort so try to give me things to do, while not giving me so much that others can't figure out what to add. This will be played in SA2PC with HD mods and a few other minor things. There will be no speed-ups or hacked stats. I have max rings and can rig the black market to sell specific things, but I still buy and move everything around. When Chao World Extended v7 comes out I may offer feedback on codes I should use, but as I'm just mainly posting pics back for you guys... things like hardcore hunger wouldn't really help me so for now I'm not using many codes.

Things to keep in mind - I will listen to almost every request as long as its reasonable and not to long. Most updates will be once a week and 3 hours in game, please try not request something that takes longer than 3 hours of in game time like "make this chao a chaos chao" or "next time he reincarnates, make him this", because that could be 4 updates later and I may forget. Also do not command something meaningless like "keep xxxx in the water", I can take a picture of him in the water for you but I'm not actually going to keep putting him back.

Lastly some example commands
- name chao xxxx
- enter the garden as xxxx
- pet xxxx until max happy
- abuse xxxx
- evolve xxxx into a xxxx chao
- take a picture in the hero garden



Entry 1

Brand new Chao Save file, chose sonic as it was the fastest to mash A. There are 2 Chao Eggs. It is the beggining of a new day, what shall I do next?

Throw one of the Eggs (either one, doesn't matter) at the invisible wall to hatch it. Because I'm impatient. c:

Put unhatched egg to water
Name new chao Mamoru

Wait. If there are no animals, how will chao learn to wear hats?

Take Mamoru to Chao Doctor and Check their stat grades,
evolve Mamoru into a Hero <insert highest non-S stat here> Chao.
Hatch the unborn Chao through Shaking for more than 10 seconds.

So edited out that animal line. When I wrote it I think I intended to mean I wouldn't spawn in animals or change chao parts manually, but I will definitly go farm 10 tigers to lvl up run or a skelly dog or two for hats ect. Sorry for the confusion.

Entry 2

Finally time to spend some time in the garden. I chose Tails due to the hero chao request, and began to grab an egg.

I violently threw the egg into the ocean, and an invisible wall broke it open and pushed it back. We now have our first chao.

I went straight to the school to learn of the chao's stats and give it a name of Mamoru.

Shortly after I then hatch the other egg by rocking it gently.

With the new chao hatched, I begin petting Mamoru to become a hero chao. With his highest stat being swim, I was about to give him swim animals but then I couldn't figure out what animals or if I should use drives. I have plenty of time I told myself, so for now Mamoru will wait.

I then research the new chao for you to decide his fate.

Well with all that, and the 10 minutes of me standing in the guardian while I make this post, that is it for entry 2. I will leave with this picture of Mamoru standing next to the new chao as he hatches. The egg shell behind Mamoru is actually in air falling from the new chao lol

Give the unnamed Chao a skeleton dog and make it wear a paper bag over it's head.
Give the unnamed Chao skeleton dogs until it has 50 points in run.
Take a picture of the unnamed Chao's first steps.

Get Mamoru at least 100 points of Swim (using any means you, or anybody else, chooses).
Put Mamoru in the water.
Take a picture of Mamoru's first non-drowning swim.

Updating because it's been 5 days. The more posts and objectives, the more time I will spend in the garden and updating this thread. However as long as there is at least 1 post, I will try to post an update within 2 weeks of my last one. Here's entry 3

Entry 3

With only 1 request post it is obvious what I must do.

I begin farming animals, a few skelly dogs and a few sea otters.

I then return to the lobby and head to buy the paper bag.

Finally back in the garden, I reunite with my chao. With just a few animals, the chao are now feeling a little more unique.





I then feed them some fruit, spend time in the garden while writing this post, and leave the garden for another day.
