Nice! Two-tones are always very appealing.
Personally, if you're going to raise a neutral Chao, I would evolve it into a Fly type.

As for names, I usually lean towards Japanese names because they sound pretty cool.
Orenji is "orange" in Japanese. I think that's a cute one.
Other non-Japanese names I have to offer:
Melon
Sunny
Pulp
Citrus
Since your Chao is orange, I figure an orange or fruit themed name would be nice. It's up to you, really. ^u^
