i agree but in truth Eggman is an idiot, he gets defeted over and over and never learns his lesson, tails builds stuff to help the good, eggman needs a different hobby, like pony riding

i think that tails is smarter because usually eggmans creations never goes as planned and tails creation are mix creations like 2 in one type of deal. :suprise:

Hmm..it would be really close. Supposedly Eggman has an IQ of 300 and that's very high, but you don't see machine-making, big-word-talking foxes every day, do you? I voted Tails.

Well, Eggman HAS to be smarter. If Tails was smarter, then there would be no plot. Tails could just build his own army and that would be the end of that. Eggman is smarter.

Plus, if Tails was smarter then Eggman, then why dont we him make a super powerful plan to overthrow Eggman, Hmmmmmm?

Well, IQ wise eggman would win hands down.

However, common sense is not exactly one of his strong points, I think tails would win in that department.

There are so many geniuses these days, but few of them actually use common sense.... this is their downfall, as is eggman's.

if eggman were THAT smart he would probably already killed Sonic, he created thousands of useless machines and even so Mephiles did in 6 seconds what Eggman couldn't do in 16 whole years. Killing Sonic

let's face it, even if Tails is less smarter than Eggman, he's way hell too smart for his age (he's 8 years old) so I vote Tails
