I didn't have any difficulty with the game. I struggled with Crazy Gadget the very first time years ago because I didn't understand the puzzle, if that counts.

Isn't Crazy Gadget the last stage or the stage when Sonic needs to get to Tails and Amy?I barely remember.

It's the one with saving Tails and Amy.

I have to think about this one. Shadow's fight against the Biolizard is too hard, yet at the same time... Rouge has... (Ugh...) Egg Quarters. Hate that place. Yet Knuckles has that creepy Aquatic Mine... Can hardly bring myself to do it. Ghosts. Ghosts everywhere. O_e

ALL of the other boss fights are a sinch- it's just the Biolizard that gives me trouble.

Eggman's stages are a breeze for me, so are the Treasure Hunting stages more or less, and I have almost all A ranks with them. Tails' and Sonic's levels are a bit more challenging, but nowhere near the degree of Shadow's. For those two it's less about getting killed and more that the point totals for A ranks are tough to reach.

^ I third that sentiment. It is hard enough on its own, but the addition of a time limit makes it ridiculous. Other than those infernal A-rank Emblems, Route 280 and Route 101 Hard Mode are the main things separating me from SA2B Green Hill.

I should also note that Mad Space was annoying. Route 99 and Route 280 were extremely easy. Even the Hard Mode missions. Not hitting the walls was easy with Tails but godawful with Rouge.
