SA2 on PC

I didn't see a topic for it so I figured I'd make it. Today Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has been released for PC. This is great news for people wanting to get back into Sonic Adventure 2 and Chao who don't have a PS3 or 360, but also great news for hackers. With this being the first PC SA2 release, we might find things left untouched upon porting that dates back to the Dreamcast version's early work. Also this opens a chance for people to work on an editor like Fusion's.

Who is excited for it and who all is getting their hands on it?

Yes because "IT HAS RETURNED" clearly sounds like it is about SA2 being on PC. Returning suggests it was ever on PC, and to say it returned to the public suggests a 360/PS3 post. Subject content matters.

To be on topic, though, today's apparently my father's birthday, so I think the best decision would to be to wait a little while before asking for it.

Seeing as I already have it on the Gamecube and can emulate in widescreen and more.

Some people(like me) prefer owning a digital version of a game and people who don't own the game anymore(or never did) can buy it again for a really cheap price. I do believe this version of the game is the same game as in 2001, but with HD textures.

Theoretically if he completed editors for both games then he could easily develop a way to trade Chao between the two games. Though this would just be a neat program on its own.

Oh wow, was this on the console versions? I didn't play SA2 for Dreamcast, only Gamecube. I just found it while playing on the Steam version.

I am really excited about this one. Sure I will get it soon. Till then...I somehow got the desire to play Crazy Gadget and a few other levels on GC. Gonna go for it.

I meant like on PC. Steam doesn't co-operate with my computer, and I was wondering if there was a different way to get it on PC.

Steam is the only way you can get it on PC.

Can't get it to run. I open the launcher, configure everything, click play and then nothing happens. No erros, no logs. I've tried running the EXE directly too.
