Oh hey lookie my first post here :P

Anyways, I was playing SA2 and was doing the fight between Sonic and Shadow when I noticed something 2spooky4me

It was Big undenrneath the grate. I never noticed this in SA2B :o

Unless it's only in SA2? Does anyone know?

Big the Cat cameos are only in SA2, it was taken out in SA2B.
Big can be seen in several levels and cutscenes.

You can spot Big cameos throughout the original Dreamcast SA2. The cameos were removed in SA2B. Sonic Adventure 2 HD re-inserted some of these cameos. You'll normally find Big peeping at you or watching you or doing a myriad of other spooky things.

If SA2 HD is the one that was released for PSN and the XL Marketplace, then yeah, Big the Cat cameos are in every single level. You just have to look hard enough.

He's in every. Single. Level.

In the original SA2, he's in literally every level, and in some cutscenes and can be triggered by pressing a certain button (I think A)

in SA2B, he was replaced by a ring in every level, but can still be triggered in cutscenes

When my brother and his friend learned about the Big cameos when we were little they'd spend a ton of time trying to get him it cut scenes.

They said they did it once, but it was when I'd left the room to get a drink so I have no idea if they did or not. |:

If you get the Steam version, even if you add on the Battle DLC you can still see Big in like every single level.
I love it, hes one of my favorite characters!

I've come across Big a few times in SA2HD, peeking through a gap in the wall in Pumpkin Hill etc. Some of the spots can be hilarious.

This is an easy one to see, but I managed to catch a glimpse of big running on the side of the street during City Escape's truck run.
Luckily they didn't put too much attention to detail, or that would be a pretty gory demise for Big.

It's called an Easter Egg. Big can never die. Big is BEST CHARACTER. Much better than Blaze. He appears a lot in Sonic Adventure 2.
