Losing all my data on Sonic Adventure 2

Losing all my data on Sonic Adventure 2

I think I actually might lose all of it due to an XBOX 360 update, if I have to download Sonic Adventure 2 it might happen. That would really suck due to how much Chao I had. :chaocry:

Why would you lose the data? I've never played XBox but isn't the save data separate from OS data? Or is it all stored on the same partition of the drive?
