mine runs fine

on windows 10 even

But the Steam forum posts for this game have lead me to ask whether or not you're trying to play it in full screen or not.

(also I'm 90% sure my Gamecube is about to die and I'm really sad you guys)

Try to get a Dreamcast and the original version of the game, or a Gamecube and SA2B.

That's all I can really say.

I've seen people having these problems; I feel lucky that it's not happening to me so much, though I have had just a few crashes right before the opening sequence. (rarely)

I have no idea if this works, BUT: you could try going to the game files in your drive and swapping the names of the exe files for the launcher and game itself, and see if that does anything. I think they are called Launcher.exe and Sonic2app.exe or something like that.

This will make it so that when you open Sonic Adventure 2 from your Steam library, it will launch the game itself instantly, instead of popping up with that little thing that lets you change resolution/control scheme/etc.

If that doesn't do anything, it's as easy as just swapping the names again to get it back to normal.
heck yeah chao
